Second, just like you see with other popular games, I really think the community would like to see the ability to join back into a game that you disconnect from, especially when youve invested a lot of time and you get disconnected from the game due to a crash or something just out of your control. At some point, I realized that reinstalling the Nvidia drivers every time I reconnected my Core X Chroma would fix the issue, but this isn't an ideal solution as I often need to unplug my laptop to use for school. I am enjoying the hell out of this game, but the random disconnects are getting on my nerves. ![]() ![]() The external monitor and actual GPU function do not work. One of the first things would be stability when playing, being on a hour + run and suddenly getting thrown out because of stability issues is a NO GO. My keyboard and mice will usually work, but it's as if my laptop is treating the Core X Chroma as a USB hub. Here's where the problems began: any time I disconnect my eGPU (even after properly ejecting the eGPU through the menu accessed from the bottom right-hand corner of my taskbar) or restart my laptop, the eGPU doesn't register upon reconnection. I tested everything out with a few minutes of Risk of Rain 2 and experienced no lag or stuttering. My monitor ran at its appropriate refresh rate and all of my peripherals were connected and working properly. My keyboard (Logitech G815) and two mice (Logitech G900 and G305) are connected through the USB ports built into the Core X Chroma.Īt the initial setup, everything seemed to be working great. I have the Chroma connected to an external monitor through the DisplayPort on my graphics card. I have a Dell on Windows 11 and bought a secondhand Razer Core X Chroma on eBay, and installed my 1060 3GB into it.
